THE FLOWERS OF WAR (2011):
Set in 1937 during the Nanjing Massacre, in which hundreds of thousands of Chinese civilians were raped and murdered when the Japanese captured the city, an American (Christian Bale) poses as a priest in a nearby church to protect a group of female refugees.
