Growing up on the streets of Baltimore, no one believed Kevin Clash’s passion for puppetry would lead him to become the heart and soul of one of the world’s most beloved characters – Elmo. Using rare footage of Jim Henson’s workshop, Being Elmo chronicles Kevin Clash’s unlikely journey of becoming Elmo and gives viewers a special glimpse into the wondrous world of Sesame Street.
Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival (Documentary Competition).
